Launching a music-ticketing platform with one of crypto's biggest legends
The Situation
The founder of Monero, one of the world's most successful cryptocurrencies, and founder of Ticketfly, one of the world's most successful ticketing platforms, came to us with big plans to launch the first music-ticketing platform built on the blockchain. They had no brand, no product, and no in-house design team, but they had a bold vision and we were amped to get involved.
The Solution
We started by creating a brand identity for Big Neon that would capture its powerful combination of music and technology. We then worked with their internal PM and engineering teams to design and launch their mobile & web apps. In parallel, one of our founders served as an interim design executive helping them to recruit and build an internal world-class design team that they still work with today.
How we helped
After designing Big Neon's brand from scratch, we applied their new brand guidelines to design their mobile and web apps.
We developed a visual style which captured the emotional feeling of going to a music show while keeping things extremely clean and intuitive.
The logo that we developed for Big Neon was so simple yet unique that we leveraged it by itself to create a variety of swag for artists.
